The stock market is moving downwards in the last session of the trading week.
Specifically, after a slightly positive opening, the General Index is now trading at 1,253.3 points, with a decrease of 0.66%, and a turnover of 13.8 million euros, while 4.8 million shares have been traded.
The banking index is declining by 0.77% to 1,054 points, the high-capitalization FTSE is moving with losses of 0.74% to 3,051 points, while the mid-cap FTSEM is gaining 0.1% to 2,086 points.
National Bank is moving downwards by -0.6% to 6.20 euros, Alpha is losing 1.2%, Piraeus is at -0.5%, and Eurobank is at -0.85%.
The market, in general, is under significant selling pressure, with Jumbo at -0.9%, continuing its decline after the dividend cut yesterday. Mytilineos is at -0.7%, OTE at -0.5%, HELPE at -1.1%, DEH at -0.85%, and OPAP at -0.3%.
On the other hand, some selected stocks in the FTSE are showing positive momentum with Ellaktor at +1.8% and Cenergy at +0.88%, being the only two high-capitalization stocks with a positive sign.
