The stock prices closed slightly lower in the last session of the week on the Athens Stock Exchange.

General Index concluded at 1,258.73 points with a marginal decline of 0.14%, and low turnover at 64.7 million euros, of which 4.2 million euros were in 11 packages, while almost 19 million pieces were traded.

The banking index edged down (-0.03%) to 1,061.89 points, the high-cap FTSE recorded a decline of 0.15% at 3,069.56 points, while the mid-cap FTSEM closed with an increase of 0.47% at 2,094.6 points.

National Bank recorded a decline of 0.96% to €6.178, with its price continuing to stay significantly away from that of the placement (€5.3).

Among the other banks, which completed the top 5 in terms of the highest turnover of the day, Eurobank strengthened by 0.88%, and Alpha by 0.46%, while Piraeus declined by 0.44%.

Jumbo declined by 1.2% with a turnover of €3.8 million on the second day without the right to the extraordinary dividend, ELPE closed at -1.15% with a turnover of €1.15 million, OPAP at -0.55% with €3.5 million, and Mytilineos at -0.17% with the third-highest turnover of the day at €4.3 million.

Quest completed with a significant decline of 2.8%, while Sarantis lost 1.6%, and Ellaktor 1.3%.

Standing out among the buyers was Cenergy at +1.46%, OTE strengthened by 0.55% with a turnover of €3.7 million, Motor Oil by 0.76% and €1.3 million, and DEI by +0.48% with a turnover of €2 million.
