Mild gains were recorded in today's session following ELSTAT's announcement regarding third quarter growth, with data showing a 2.1% increase in GDP.
General Index is up by 0.41% at 1,275.59 points, with a turnover of 14.16 million euros.
The banking index is at 1,046 points, down by 0.42%. The largest losses are recorded by Eurobank's shares, which are down by 1.21%, although with relatively low trading volume, while Piraeus Bank's shares are moving upward by 0.57%. The highest turnover on the entire board is observed with NBG shares, surpassing 3.2 million euros.
FTSE is at 3,073 with a 0.9% loss, while FTSEM, on the contrary, strengthens by 0.87% at 2,183 points.
The food sector leads the gains, rising by 2.05% to 9,901 points. Coca-Cola strengthens by 2.05%, followed by ELPE with gains of 1.61%. DEI (Public Power Corporation) is up by 0.56%.
