With the exception of the surge in turnover due to packages from the placement of HelleniQ Energy, the last session of the week mirrored previous ones on the Athens Stock Exchange.

The General Index strengthened by 0.14% to close at 1,275.09 points, with the large-cap index gaining 0.23% and the mid-cap index declining by 0.44%. The Bank Index closed with losses of 0.48%. The General Index recorded a 0.02% loss on a weekly basis.

The daily turnover surged to 327.4 million euros, of which 248.8 million euros were attributed to 23 packages of HelleniQ Energy.

The volume was shaped at 53.28 million shares.

In the banking sector, Alpha Bank declined by 1.53%, while Piraeus Bank and Eurobank recorded gains with an increase of 0.32% and 0.22%, respectively. The NBG -0.73%.

The high-capitalization index FTSE gained 0.23% to reach 3,078 points, while the mid-cap index FTSEM declined by 0.44%. The banking index concluded at 1,030 points with losses of 0.48%.
