Lampsa, which oversees the hotels in the Grande Bretagne - King George, and Athens Capital, is expected to show positive financial results for this fiscal year, indicative of the flourishing tourism in Athens.

In today's event, it was emphasized that the turnover will be around 114.5 million euros (vs 109 million euros in 2022). At the same time, EBITDA profitability is projected to reach 35 million euros, compared to last year's 32 million euros.

Regarding the company's profitability, officials note that it remains relatively low, a result of inflation and increased labor costs due to raises given to the approximately 1400 employees.

The Grande Bretagne is expected to achieve a turnover of 63 million euros in 2023 (10 million euros increase y-o-y). King George will reach 15 million euros (vs 13 million euros in 2022), and Athens Capital, which achieved 13 million euros last year, will go up to 17 million euros this year. The turnover of the Mercure Excelsior hotel in Belgrade also saw a significant increase.

In terms of investments, in March, Lampsa will open its new project consisting of 19 suites, which will be added to the Athens Capital hotel. The unit is located on Zalokosta Street, a building Lampsa leased from EFKA.

Meanwhile, in the next two years, Lampsa's major investment on Mount Parnassus will be completed. The luxury winter resort on Mount Parnassus is now part of the Laskaridis Group and is budgeted at around 20 million euros. The ambition is for it to become the country's best winter resort, featuring 45 houses and a central building, as well as a spa center.

Lampsa recently increased its stake in Regency company, acquiring a 33.9% share for 9 million euros, previously held by its creditors' banks, and repaid a loan of approximately 24 million euros, as highlighted by company executives.
