Increase by €25 million in "red loans" in the third quarter
Τhe nominal value of loans to non-financial corporations (NFCs) increased by €34 million to €23,890 million at the end of the third quarter of 2023.

The nominal value of serviced corporate loans increased to €23,953 million in the third quarter of 2023, from €23,921 million in the previous quarter.

In further detail, the nominal value of loans to non-financial corporations (NFCs) increased by €34 million to €23,890 million at the end of the third quarter of 2023. Out of the total of these loans to NFCs, an amount of €12,207 million corresponds to loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). 

The nominal value of loans to other financial institutions serviced by CSFs decreased by 2 million to €63 million at the end of the third quarter of 2023.

Loans to sole proprietors, farmers and unincorporated partnerships

The nominal value of loans to sole proprietors, farmers and unincorporated partnerships serviced by CSFs increased by €12 million from the previous quarter to €9,593 million at the end of the third quarter of 2023.

Loans to individuals and private non-profit institutions

The nominal value of loans to individuals and private non-profit institutions serviced by CSFs decreased by €20 million to €37,640 million at the end of the third quarter of 2023. In further detail, consumer loans serviced decreased by €37 million to €15,813 million, while the corresponding housing loans increased by €18 million to €21,528 million.
