Mild weakening of economic sentiment in November is reported by IOBE in the monthly Industry Developments bulletin, due to a deterioration in Construction, Industry, and Retail trade.

At the same time, a slight decline in consumer confidence is recorded.

Specifically, the economic sentiment index was set at 106.2 points in November, compared to 106.6 points the previous month and 101.6 points a year ago. This is the result of a decline in expectations in Industry, Retail trade, and Construction, with Services, however, showing a significant strengthening.

The consumer confidence index slightly weakened in November and was set at -45.6 points (from -44.7 points the previous month), at higher levels compared to a year ago (-51.9 points).
