Small gains aiming at the 1,300 points
The banking index strengthens by 0.41% to 1,089 units, very close to the yearly high and the highest in seven years.

Today’s session at the Athens Stock Exchange is characterized by a new attempt to break the psychological barrier of 1,300 points, with the General Index recording a 0.17% increase, reaching 1,300.65 units, gaining two units compared to Tuesday's closing (1,298.48 points).

The banking index strengthens by 0.41% to 1,089 units, very close to the yearly high and the highest in seven years.

Alpha Bank's stock is gaining 0.5% and is at €1.56, while the National Bank of Greece is up 0.3% at €6.4. Eurobank's stock is down 0.2% at €1.65, while Piraeus Bank's stock remains unchanged at €3.3. 

The FTSE high capitalization index strengthens by 0.39% to 3,153 units, while the corresponding mid-cap index gains 0.55%. The banking index gains 0.34% at 1,091 units.

On the high capitalization board, DEI (Public Power Corporation) strengthens by 1.16%, followed by TITAN with gains of 0.93%.

In the FTSE Mid Cap index, Intralot leads the gains with an increase of 2.74%, and ADMIE (Independent Power Transmission Operator) strengthens by 1.35%.
