The Ministry of National Economy and Finance is granting a two-month extension, specifically until February 29th, for the payment of annual road tax for private cars, with the relevant announcements expected to be made immediately and possibly before Christmas.

The decision was just announced by Minister Kostis Hatzidakis in an effort to provide relief to households facing financial challenges due to the cost of living. He also announced a new system for the submission of fines for overdue payments.
