JUNEYAO AIR and AEGEAN announce the launch of their cooperation for codeshare flights, offering their passengers the opportunity to benefit from the increased connectivity of the two airlines, turning Athens into a gateway between Asia and Europe.

With the addition of the new flight from Shanghai to Athens, JUNEYAO AIR significantly increases the European destinations in its network and, through its cooperation with AEGEAN, facilitates the booking process for its passengers for flights to popular destinations in AEGEAN's international network, such as Helsinki, Milan, Rome, Naples, Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, Nice and Marseille.

AEGEAN, for its part, is further expanding its network abroad and for the first time, through this new codeshare partnership, will operate in China, offering its passengers new, increased options. The codeshare flights are expected to start on 1 May and passengers can already book their tickets from mid-April through the airlines' websites juneyaoair.com and aegeanair.com or through travel agencies. In the coming months, JUNEYAO AIR and AEGEAN will further expand their cooperation and the network of codeshare flights, adding popular Greek destinations and additional points in Europe.

It is noted that JUNEYAO AIR, a Star Alliance partner and AEGEAN, a Star Alliance member, already have interline cooperation, facilitating passengers' access via Athens to several Greek destinations.
