The construction of the Riviera Tower, the tallest green residential skyscraper in the Mediterranean, is progressing rapidly, as part of the urban redevelopment that is in full swing at Elliniko by Lamda Development. "We are reaching new heights. Work on the Riviera Tower continues apace, and the first floors of the tower are already visible from Poseidon Avenue," LAMDA said, as part of its regular updates on the progress of all individual projects.

The foundation of the Riviera Tower was completed last October with the concreting, the longest continuous 40-hour pour ever in Greece, following the design and construction standards of the tallest and most impressive buildings in the world, such as the Petronas Towers and Burj Khalifa. The Riviera Tower, 200 meters high and 50 floors high, has been designed by the internationally renowned architectural firm Foster+Partners and its construction has been entrusted to the Bouygues Bâtiment International and Intrakat consortiums.

According to data that have been made public, the urban redevelopment that is underway at the former Elliniko airport is transforming the area with greenery at a rate of about 70%, compared to before, when it was dominated by cement at a rate of 70-75%.
