Athens International Airport's passenger traffic during March 2024 reached 2 million, an increase of 20.1% compared to March 2023, according to a company announcement.

In detail, both domestic and international passenger traffic exceeded 2023 levels by 12.6% and 23.5% respectively. Overall, in the first three months of the year, the airport's traffic reached 5.2 million passengers, an increase of 16.5%. Both domestic and international passenger traffic increased by 10.3% and 19.4% respectively.

The number of flights at Athens International Airport during the first three months of 2024 amounted to 46,334, an increase of 12.8% compared to the same period in 2023. Both domestic and international flights recorded an increase of 6.5% and 17.5%, respectively, compared to 2023.
