Heading towards a second day of gains
Athens Stock Exchange buyers take the upper hand for a second day.

Investors are willing to continue the recovery from last week's correction, with Mytilineos taking a position today alongside banks that continue to outperform. Specifically, the General Index is trading at 1,415.9 points with +1.05% and turnover at 50.3 million euros, while 14 million pieces have been traded.

The banking index continues unabated from yesterday with a new 2.6% jump to 1,227 points, the FTSE is up 1.5% to 3,424 points, while the FTSEM mid-cap is making small gains of 0.28% to 2,336 points.

Eurobank at EUR 1.875 with +3.6%, Alpha at EUR 1.661 with +2.6%, Piraeus at EUR 3.918 with +2.2% and National Bank of Greece at 7.402 with +1.8%.

Mytilineos is doing even better with a 3.7% jump to 35.62 euros following yesterday's 1.3% rise, and has also topped the day's turnover with 7 million euros.

Beyond that Jumbo is up 0.8%, Coca Cola has erased its small morning losses and is now contributing to the upward effort also with +0.8%, as is OTE.

Viohalco is up 1.5%, while Ellaktor is hovering around +1%. PPC after jumping 4.7% yesterday and rising to 12.02 euros in the morning (+1.09%) has now slowed down, also moving into negative territory just before the announcement of its figures after the close.

Among the few sellers' picks in the FTSE, Autohellas and Cenergy are now down around 0.6%, while Sarantis, Motor Oil and Titan are still with marginal losses below 0.35%.

In the mid-caps, Intrakat's rally stands out at 3.55% with +3.65%, Profile is up +2.1% and ABAX is up +0.9%, while Intralot and Intrakat are down mildly with a decline of around 0.5%.
