Small changes in the region of 1,420 points

Weak upward trends are recorded by the stock prices in the stock market which is moving at the level of 1,420 points. From the high capitalization stand out the shares of OTE and Εllaktor.

The General Price Index at 13:30 is at 1,420.59 points, up 0.20% with a trading value of over 39 million euros. Intra-day the GC recorded a higher value at 1,425.68 points (+0.56%).

The large-cap index rose 0.23%, while the mid-cap index declined 0.29%.

As mentioned above, banks are moving within a narrow range today, with Alpha making small gains of 0.25%, Piraeus marginally down (-0.05%), National Bank of Greece at -0.4% and Eurobank at -0.8%, after yesterday's 5.4% rally.

The market is mainly supported by OTE with a gain of 2.4%; GEK Terna is up 1.2% and PPC contributes +0.85% after strong results announced yesterday, reinstating its dividend distribution after 10 years (0.25 euros per share).

Ellaktor and Eydap also return more than 1% on the FTSE but with a small turnover. Quest and Autohellas are under some pressure at -0.8%, with Cenergy at -0.4%.

In the mid-caps Intralot has lost its initial momentum (up to €1.148 at +1.95%) and is now around unchanged, Intrakat a is down 0.75% and Intracom corrects -2.3%, while Alumyl jumps 5%. Beyond that, up 0.2% is El. Venizelos while March's champion Optima is slightly down -0.7%.
