Papoutsanis, Greek soap and liquid cosmetics industry announced its turnover for the first quarter of 2024.

Specifically, turnover amounted to €14.2 million (compared to €15.3 million in the corresponding period of 2023), down 7.2%, with the value of exports representing 58% of total turnover.

In terms of profitability for the first quarter of 2024, Management expects improved financial results compared to those of 2023, due to the rebalancing of material and energy prices to lower levels than those of the first quarter of 2023.

For the full year, an improvement in turnover is expected compared to 2023, particularly in the second half of 2024, when the new partnerships already being implemented will be in full swing.

The completion of the strong investment plan (which, among other things, has significantly expanded production capacity) has created the conditions for new partnerships, the announcement notes. The Company is currently in negotiations with large multinationals and smaller companies for new projects that will further strengthen the development of the business.
