The Athens Stock Exchange is slightly down with investors continuing to consolidate some of the recent significant gains, in a trend that seems to have a general lead in the international markets in recent hours.
In particular, the General Index is trading at 1,440 points, down 0.57%, with turnover at 12 million euros, while 2.4 million pieces have been traded.
In early investor moves, sellers are ahead on all banks with Ethniki at -0.9%, Eurobank at -1.25%, Piraeus at -0.6% and Alpha at -1%.
Slightly down is Mytilineos at -0.4%, with the market indicating that it had discounted both the strong Q1 pre-opening earnings, with a 10% increase in profitability and 12% increase in EBIDTA, and the announcement of the group's dual listing in London.
Motor Oil and Cenergy, which stood out yesterday, today see sellers return with the former down 1.8% and the latter down 1.3%, with Viohalco and ElvalHalcor around -1%.
The few buyers in the FTSE make some moves in EYDAP, Quest, Autohellas, Sarantis and Jumbo, but none rise more than 0.5%.
In the mid-caps Intralot is up 0.9% while Intrakat is down 1.6%.
