Hilton is rapidly expanding its portfolio of resorts in Europe with 10 hotels (totaling over 1,500 rooms) opening for this summer season through three of its brands - Curio Collection by Hilton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and DoubleTree by Hilton. Recently, the company announced four new hotels: the Hilton Alvor, which will open in 2026, and Cala San Miguel Hotel Ibiza, Curio Collection by Hilton, The Club Cala San Miguel Hotel Ibiza, Curio Collection by Hilton and Numo Ierapetra Beach Resort Crete, Curio Collection by Hilton, which will open this summer in Italy, Greece, Croatia and Malta.

Last year alone, Hilton signed deals for more than 20 resorts in Europe, the Middle East and Africa through six of its brands as part of its strategy to grow its summer accommodation portfolio, which has doubled in the past five years and now numbers more than 300 hotels worldwide.

"Travelers are increasingly looking for resorts that provide high-quality service in both well-known and emerging destinations worldwide, while there is growing interest from owners in developing summer hotels under Hilton brands," said Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president in Hilton's Europe, Middle East and Africa Development division. "Last year alone, over 20% of our new projects in Europe, the Middle East and Africa were resorts, and we expect growth in this sector to continue, particularly in Mediterranean island destinations. With ten resorts due to open ahead of this summer season, we are introducing outstanding properties in popular destinations including Ibiza, Algarve and Crete, expanding the portfolio across the region and under different brands."
