Second day of losses - Which stocks were under pressure
With sellers holding a slight advantage over buyers until the very end, the 1,500 point showdown was postponed, and the Athens Stock Exchange posted losses for the second straight session today, 14/5.

The Athens Stock Exchange showed losses for the 2nd consecutive session today (14/5), with sellers maintaining a small lead over buyers until the end, postponing the 1,500 points showdown.

Tonight, meanwhile, we await the MSCI index restructuring, with any changes in Standard Greece monopolizing interest. At the same time, the market was also focused on the publication of corporate results (OTE today / Alpha, Eurobank & Helleniq Energy on Thursday).

More specifically, in the 2nd session of the week, the General Index recorded a controlled decline of 0.29% to 1,471.78 points, losing about 4.5 points compared to Monday's close (1,476.12 points).

The arc of daily fluctuations was fixed at 11 points (from 1,467.05 to 1,476.45 points), with a turnover of 106 million euros, of which 16.8 million euros related to pre-agreed packages.

The banking index posted small losses as it ended -0.23% and 1,281 points, pending the new financial results for the period.

Eurobank's shares were limited to -2.50% and EUR 2,024, Alpha Bank's shares were unchanged at EUR 1,612, Piraeus increased by +0.47% and 3.888 euros, while the share of National Bank increased dynamically to +1.1% and 8.16 euros.

In the high-cap index (-0.33% and 3,561 points), Titan Cement shares, after consecutive records and an impressive rally, were quick to correct to -3.8% and EUR 30.05. The shares of Terna Energy fell to 18.1 euros, recording losses of more than 2%. Elvalhalkor, PPC, GEK  Terna, Quest, and Lamda lost 1% each, with Ellaktor losing 2.1%. On the flip side, EYDAP shares rose 1%, approaching 6 euros. Cenergy's shares also returned to their historic highs of 8.4 euros, up 1.6%.

As for the mid-cap index (-0.24% and 2,374 points), Intrakat's shares stood out negatively at -1.8% and 5.3 euros, with shares of Intracom Holdings, EXAE, and Dimand contracting by around 1%. On the other hand, Kri Kri gained 1.4%, while Profile expanded 2.9% to a record high of EUR 5.29.
