The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (TAIPED), a member company of the GrowthFund, announces the launch of the public international tender, through the competitive dialogue procedure, for the development of the business park at the "Spilies" site of the Municipality of Fylis.
The tender is being conducted on behalf of the Municipality of Fyli, which is the final beneficiary and developer of the project. The preferred investor will undertake the financing, design, licensing, development, construction, operation, maintenance, and long-term operation of the Business Park of the Municipality of Fylis. The total area intended for concession is approximately 412,000 m2.
The duration of the concession agreement will correspond to a minimum of thirty-five (35) years. The exact duration of the concession, as well as the extension that may be granted, will be determined upon completion of the competitive dialogue process and will be included in the Invitation to Bid.
The Strategic Contracts Unit of the TAIPED has matured and completed all the competitive procedures for the concession of the property to the selected investment scheme.
The tender process will be conducted in two phases. The first phase concerns the pre-selection of candidates on the basis of technical and financial capacity criteria, and the second phase concerns the completion of a competitive dialogue with the pre-selected candidates and the submission of binding financial offers.
The Business Park will be a modern, green, and innovative national transport and logistics center that will support the needs of the national freight transport market in a comprehensive and efficient manner, while at the same time radically upgrading the West Attica region, enhancing local development, and creating new jobs both during the construction period and during the operation period.
Panagiotis Stamboulidis, Executive Advisor to TAIPED and Head of the Strategic Significance Contracts Unit, said: "A flagship project is on track for implementation, thanks to the rapid completion of all the necessary procedures by the Strategic Significance Contracts Unit of the Hellenic Investment Fund. The Fyli Business Park is a project that will be developed in sustainable terms for society, the economy, and the environment and will be a vehicle for the emergence of Greece as an international logistics hub. The Strategic Contracts Unit of the Hellenic Investment Fund continues to implement cutting-edge projects for the productive reconstruction of the country and to address the climate crisis."
