Two betting companies, based at the same address in Attica, were caught in the trap of the AADE.

The targeted audit of the Independent Public Revenue Authority identified a gambling and betting service provider that, for four years (2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022), had incorrectly declared the withheld taxes. It did not pay back taxes, totaling €10.4 million.

The same auditors identified another bookmaker with the same registered office address as the first, which, in 2021, filed an inaccurate withholding tax return, resulting in a failure to pay €120,000 in tax.
