18% surge in turnover in April
According to ELSTAT, the General Index of Industrial Turnover for April 2024 increased by 18.0% when compared to the corresponding index for April 2023, while it decreased by 7.4% when compared to the corresponding comparison for April 2023 and April 2022.

The General Index of Industrial Turnover (total domestic and external market) of April 2024, compared to the corresponding index of April 2023, showed an increase of 18.0% compared to a decrease of 7.4% in the corresponding comparison of 2023 with 2022, according to Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).
The General Index of Industrial Turnover in Industry for April 2024, compared to the corresponding index for March 2024, showed an increase of 10.2%.
The average general index for the twelve months of May 2023–April 2024, compared to the corresponding index for the twelve months of May 2022–April 2023, showed a decrease of 4.4%, compared to an increase of 22.7% when comparing the corresponding previous twelve months.
