The management of H&M attributes the failure to transmit receipts to the Hellenic Revenue Service to a technical problem, which led to the initial sealing for 48 hours of the store that the chain maintains on Ermou Street on Monday and the sealing of four more stores of the company in Volos, Kalamata, Rhodes and Glyfada by H&M auditors yesterday Thursday.

In detail, the company's announcement is:

"As it has already become known, since yesterday, four of our stores in Volos, Kalamata, Rhodes and Glyfada remain closed for 48 hours, until June 22, in continuation of the audits by the Greek Tax Authorities.

This was the result of a technical problem in our system, which only affected the transmission of electronic data to the digital portal of the AADE. As we have already stated, both our local teams and our overseas teams are continuously working to resolve the issue in collaboration with our technical provider. We are investigating, with the support of both internal and external technical experts, what may have caused the technical problem."
