The process of automatic finalization of the pre-completed declarations is completed and the relevant statements were issued, as informed by the AADE in a statement. With the new procedure, which is being applied for the first time this year, 422,878 declarations were automatically finalized.
From these declarations, the following emerge:
- 132,222 taxpayers will receive a tax refund, with an average refund of 128 euros.
- For 237,434 taxpayers, the result of the declaration was zero.
- A further 109,699 taxpayers will have to pay additional tax, with an average tax of 402 euros.
- 93,204 taxpayers and 5,093 spouses and partners have been taxed on the basis of presumptions
In case a correction or completion of the above declarations is required, taxpayers have the possibility of submitting, until 27/26 (deadline for submission of declarations), an amended declaration without penalty.
At the same time, to date, 8,036 messages have been sent to taxpayers whose data has changed and it has not been possible to pre-fill and automatically finalise their returns. In the near future, messages will be sent for the same reason to another 6,930 taxpayers.
Similarly, information is also being sent to taxpayers who submitted returns but received, after submission, data from public/private entities that changed their final incomes.
Taxpayers who have received or will receive the relevant messages must submit their tax returns by July 26.
As a reminder, income tax returns are submitted via the myAADE digital portal (myaade.gov.gr), under Applications > Popular Applications > Tax Returns (E1-E2-E3) Login to the application > "Fiscal Year 2024 Returns". Citizens can also view and save their declaration and tax return via the myAADEapp mobile app.
