The cash primary surplus for the six-month period (January–June 2024) stood at €2.952 billion, according to Bank of Greece data.

This development, according to Bank of Greece data, reflects the increase in regular budget revenues to €29.999 billion, up from €27.838 billion last year.

As for regular budget expenditure, it stood at €29.117 billion, up from €29.738 billion in the January–June 2023 period.

In the period January–June 2024, the cash result of the central administration showed a deficit of €1.558 billion, compared to a deficit of €2.906 billion in the corresponding period of 2023.
