The inauguration of the Certification and Collection Centre (KEBEIS) and the Capital Tax Centre (KEFOK) took place today in Thessaloniki.

Τhe inauguration of KEBEIS was held in the presence of the Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kostis Hatzidakis, the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Christos Dimas, the Governor of the Independent Public Revenue Authority, George Pitsilis, members of parliament, political and state leaders, and representatives of local authorities.

Both services of the Hellenic Revenue Service are housed in buildings of modern standards, which enhance the efficiency of their work, upgrading the services provided to taxpayers and creating a friendly working environment for employees. These are buildings with a special bioclimatic design that contribute to the development of the area, with spatial adequacy and aesthetic visibility in the public space.

In addition, the new Thessaloniki Certification and Collection Centre (KEBEIS) is located in close proximity, just 200 meters, to the new metro station that will open in the near future, providing easy access for employees and citizens and further reducing the environmental footprint of travel to and from KEBIS.

The new organisational model of centralising the services of the Hellenic Tax Administration, combined with the use of modern tools and new technologies, will ensure transparency, speed up tax procedures and optimise the services provided to citizens and businesses.
