By 4.4% increased the turnover of Greek businesses in the third quarter of 2024 and amounted to 128,246,250 thousand euros, according to ELSTAT data. In the same period last year, it had amounted to 122,801,383 thousand euros.

By sector, the largest increase in turnover in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of 2023 was recorded by enterprises in the Mining and Quarrying sector by 18.4%, while the smallest increase was recorded by enterprises in the Wholesale and Retail Trade, Repair of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles sector by 1%.

For all enterprises in the economy with the obligation to keep double-entry books, for which data are available on a monthly basis, the turnover in September 2024 amounted to 33,832,547 thousand euros, an increase of 1.9% compared to September 2023, which had amounted to 33,203,681 thousand euros. The largest increase in turnover in September 2024 compared to September 2023 was recorded by enterprises in the Construction sector, by 25.4%, while the largest decrease was recorded by enterprises in the Manufacturing sector, by 6.1%.
