The General Index of Import Prices in Industry recorded a 10.6% decline in September compared to the corresponding index for September 2023, ELSTAT said on Thursday.

The General Index in the month of September 2024, compared to the index of August 2024, showed a decrease of 2.9% against an increase of 3.9% recorded during the corresponding comparison of the indicators of the year 2023.

The average General Index for the twelve months of October 2023 to September 2024, compared to the average General Index for the twelve months of October 2022 to September 2023, showed a decrease of 4.1% compared to a decrease of 6.6% recorded during the corresponding comparison of the previous twelve months.
