The five objectives for the transformation of the Tax and Customs Administration
The Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE) presents the Strategic Plan for the period 2025-2029, stressing that it is a plan of high objectives that sets the basis for a model and technologically advanced administration, meets the modern needs of citizens and businesses, while ensuring public revenues and supporting the implementation of fiscal and social policy.

The Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE) presents the Strategic Plan for the period 2025-2029, stressing that it is a plan of high objectives that sets the basis for a model and technologically advanced administration, meets the modern needs of citizens and businesses, while ensuring public revenues and supporting the implementation of fiscal and social policy.

With the new Strategic Plan 2025-2029, the DPA is gradually transitioning to the leading Tax Administration 3.0 model, with data-driven decision making, risk management at all levels (risk-based), adoption of a new model of service to citizens and businesses, a multi-channel approach to communication (taxpayer-focused), prioritising the welfare of its staff, and excellence in all its functions, the statement said.

Strategic Objectives

Five strategic objectives implement the Authority's vision for the period 2025-2029:

⦁ Shaping the framework for easy compliance
⦁ Focus on citizens, businesses and society at large.
⦁ Addressing any risk of non-compliance, safeguarding public revenues
⦁ High levels of efficiency through technology, data and human resources
⦁ Pursuing excellence at all levels of operation

Performance indicators

Twenty-five critical performance indicators measure progress towards the successful implementation of the strategic plan, always guided by the authority's principles and values, as highlighted in the announcement, for the benefit of citizens, the public interest and society as a whole.

"The Strategic Plan 2025-2029 expresses our commitment to continuous improvement, enhancing citizens' confidence and increasing the efficiency of our services, with the aim of safeguarding public revenues, combating delinquency and protecting public health, while supporting healthy competition and sustainable growth," it is underlined.
