Tourism investments of several tens of millions have recently been included in the Development Law of 2022 and concern both the creation of new hotel units and the modernization of existing ones.
Among the main investments, which were subsidized in the form of tax exemptions, the following stand out:

Modernisation of the existing 5* hotel unit, Electra Palace, in Rhodes.
Project: €11 million.
Subsidy: €3.52 million.
Hotels Louis Hotels
Modernisation of the existing hotel unit, Ionian Sun, in Corfu, with a final capacity of 272 beds / 135 rooms, and upgrade to 5* category
Project: €10.7 million.
Subsidy: €3.424 million.
White Olive
Establishment of a 4* hotel in Rhodes
Project: €10.2 million.
Subsidy: €3,264 million
Marbella
Modernisation of the 3* hotel unit, Corfu Senses Resort, in Corfu and upgrading to a five-star category
Project: €10.164 million
Subsidy: €4.066 million.
Crete Hotels Mitsis
Modernisation of 150 rooms (300 beds) and related public areas in a 5* hotel unit with a total capacity of 435 rooms - 914 beds, in Heraklion, Crete

Lindos Olympia International Village
Modernisation of an existing 5* hotel unit, Lindian Village, in Rhodes
Project: €9.355 million.
