During the period of January-October 2023, the cash surplus of the central administration amounted to €93 million, compared to a deficit of €6.399 billion in the corresponding period of 2022, according to the announcement by the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE).

During this period, the revenues of the regular budget amounted to €50.714 billion, up from €44.948 billion last year. As for the expenses of the regular budget, they were €47.811 billion, down from €48.965 billion for the period of January-October 2022.

The primary cash surplus amounted to €5.769 billion, compared to a deficit of €955 million in the corresponding period of 2022.
