In the reassessment of its commercial positioning in the Greek hotel market, the Radisson Hotel Group is reportedly seeking a buyer for the unit it has developed on Mitropoleos Street, which is expected to operate under the previous short-term lease regime.
However, this changes significantly with the pending legislation, expected to be voted on soon by the Parliament. The group manages five hotels in Greece, two in Athens, and the others in Skiathos, Santorini, and Mykonos.
About a year ago, it started promoting the project on Mitropoleos Street and exploring its expansion into the markets of Thessaloniki and Heraklion, Crete.
These moves, announced in September 2022, have not yet borne fruit, and, apparently, according to the same sources, the strategy is being reassessed.
