The Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE) presented the new mobile application, myAADEapp, to the visitors of BEYOND, the International Digital Technology Exhibition, which took place from 25 to 27 April, on the theme "The Age of AI: Unlocking the Potential" at the HELEXPO International Exhibition and Conference Centre in Thessaloniki.
AADE welcomed its visitors in a stylish, modern and innovative exhibition pavilion, equipped with audiovisual technical means for the optimal promotion and promotion of its new digital services to citizens and businesses.
Head of the Tax Authority, George Pitsilis, participated in the panel on the impact of AI in areas such as Business, Health, Citizens, Governance, Ethical Dilemmas, etc. He spoke about the "Next Generation ADA" and the continuous deepening of digitization and modernization of its services. He mentioned, among others:
-the use of data (big data) collected from digital applications and information systems using artificial intelligence tools and data mining, machine learning and taxpayer profiling techniques
-the transition to the OECD Tax Model 3.0, which is data driven, risk based and taxpayer focused
-the innovations of myAADEapp, the new application for mobile devices, which is a friendly and secure channel for transactions and communication between the citizen and the tax administration.
"We participate dynamically in BEYOND, the largest meeting of digital technology and innovation in Greece, presenting in practice how technology is upgrading the services we provide to taxpayers and exchanging ideas and initiatives with leading leaders in the emerging technologies sector both in Greece and abroad," said the Governor of AADE and renewed his commitment to continue to exploit the opportunities offered by new technologies, aiming to better serve citizens and businesses.
