COP29
The prospect of improving bilateral relations and the energy cooperation between the two countries were discussed during the meeting between Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan on the sidelines of the annual UN Climate Change Conference COP29.

Greece is participating with a national pavilion at the 29th UN Climate Change Conference (COP29), which is being held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 11 to 22 November 2024. The Ministry of Environment and Energy is responsible for the preparation of the Greek presence.
