Business turnover in October increased by 4.2% compared to last year, according to ELSTAT data for all sectors of the economy, incorporating the latest data on turnover from administrative sources.

Specifically, for all enterprises in the economy with the obligation to keep double-entry books, for which data are available on a monthly basis, the turnover in October 2024 amounted to 33,057,486 thousand euros, an increase of 4.2% compared to October 2023, which amounted to 31,715,178 thousand euros.

The largest increase in turnover in October 2024 compared to October 2023 was recorded by enterprises in the construction sector, up 29.5%, while the smallest increase was recorded by enterprises in the information and communication sector, up 0.7%, and the largest decrease was recorded by enterprises in the mining and quarrying sector, down 4.8%.
