Capital Product Partners L.P. (CPLP) of Vangelis Marinakis' interests ended the second quarter with a 10% increase in revenues to $97.7 million compared to $88.5 million in the corresponding period of 2023.

In other CPLP business developments, the company declared a dividend of $0.15 per share in the second quarter of 2024 and announced an investment of $756 million for the purchase of 10 gas carriers ("Gas Fleet") to be delivered between the first quarter of 2026 and the third quarter of 2027.

These are six Dual Fuel Medium Gas Carriers ("MGCs") and four Liquid CO2 Handy Multi Gas Carriers ("LCO2s").

The company also took delivery of the liquefied natural gas carriers ("LNG/Cs") "Assos,"  "Apostolos," and "Aktoras" as part of the acquisition agreement for 11 latest generation liquefied natural gas carriers ("MEGA") (the "LNG/C Agreement"), which was completed on December 21, 2023.

During the same period, the sale of five container vessels, the M/V "Athos,"  "Athenian,"  "Seattle Express,"  "Fos Express," and "Aristomenis,"  was completed for a gain of $15.2 million.

Finally, the appointment of Mr. Brian Gallagher as Executive Vice President for Investor Relations was announced.

Commenting on Capital Product Partners' performance, CEO Gerasimos said: "This was another milestone quarter for the company. First and foremost, the anticipated renaming of Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp." (Nasdaq ticker: CCEC) and its transformation into a Marshall Islands company with high standards of corporate governance is an important step in the context of the strategic evolution we announced in November 2023.

In addition, the delivery of three latest-generation LNG carriers during the quarter brings our fleet to 12 vessels of this type, with a further six to follow in 2026-2027.

In addition, the acquisition of ten more specialized gas carriers in June now makes us one of the world's leading gas transportation platforms with a focus on energy transition."
