Sunlight Group, part of the Olympia Group, announces the appointment of Mariella Röhm-Kottmann as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with responsibility for overseeing the company's financial operations, strategy and ESG initiatives to ensure long-term sustainable profitability and maintain a smooth path to success.

Mrs. Röhm-Kottmann has an extensive professional background and expertise in financial management with more than 30 years of experience in various business sectors. Prior to joining Sunlight, she served as Senior Vice President Finance at ZF Group, a global automotive supplier with revenues in excess of €40 billion, where she oversaw global accounting and reporting, risk management, internal control and shared services for the group, globally.

In addition, her role included significant contributions to post-merger integration and business transformation projects, showcasing her strategic acumen and leadership skills. Previously, Röhm-Kottmann spent 24 years at KPMG, including 14 years as a partner in the Audit department, auditing and advising international corporate organisations.

She holds a degree in Financial Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe and graduated as a tax consultant and chartered accountant in Germany. In addition, she is a member of the Supervisory Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee for two major German listed companies.
