Bank stocks set the tone
Investors are looking for balance after last week's correction at Athens Stock Exchange.

The Athens market is exploring the scope to leave last week's correction behind, with buyers having the initiative in the first trades of the day. In particular, the General Index is trading at 1,388 points, up 0.35%, with turnover at 8 million euros and 2 million pieces traded.

In today's trading, Alpha stands out with +1.4%, with Piraeus close at +0.7%, while Eurobank is +0.2% and ETE is down 0.25%. Mytilineos is up 0.8%, PPC is up 0.9% and ELPE is up 1.2%, while Ellaktor tops the FTSE at +3%.

Cenergy, Motor Oil, Coca Cola and Terna Energy are slightly down with losses of less than 0.3% all down, with Jumbo at -0.4% and GEK Terna at -0.6%.
