Two new international destinations from Athens
Two new international destinations from Athens and 7 new direct domestic flights are the latest additions to Aegean's network for 2025.

Aegean achieved a high number of flights in the first nine months of 2024, with its consolidated Operating Turnover amounting to €1.38 billion, up 4% compared to the same period in 2023.

Passenger traffic up 5% in the first nine months
AEGEAN's passenger traffic exceeded 12.5 million passengers in the first nine months of 2024, a 5% year-on-year increase, while carrying more than 5.3 million passengers in the third quarter.
The new technical base is operational

Why is investing in Volotea
Aegean announced yesterday a €25 million investment in Volotea, one of Europe's leading low-cost carriers based in Barcelona. The investment will be made through the joint participation of Aegean and Volotea's existing shareholders in a capital increase of up to €50 million through the issuance of a convertible financial instrument (loan) with profit participation rights.
Acquires 13% of low cost carrier Volotea
Aegean has announced a €25 million investment in Volotea, one of Europe's leading low-cost carriers based in Barcelona, Spain.
Credit assessment
Aegean Airlines hereby notifies investors that, in accordance with the terms of its February 28, 2019, Common Bond Loan, it has kept its AA credit rating (low credit risk zone) with ICAP CRIF S.A. based on regular reevaluations of the company.
Passenger traffic up 8% in the second quarter
In Q2 2024, Aegean carried 4.4 million passengers, up 8% from the previous year. By the first half of the year, the carrier carried 7.3 million passengers, up 9% from the year before.
